Chiropractic
is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating,
self-healing organism. Every cell, tissue, organ and system of
your body is controlled by the nervous system. While the skull
protects the brain, the 24 moving vertebrae (bones) of the spine
protect the spinal cord. When these bones lose their normal position,
they can irritate the nervous system. This disrupts the function
of the tissues and organs these nerves control, leading to poor
health. The chiropractic approach to better health is to detect,
reduce, and prevent nervous system dysfunction.

Have you ever
watched a sporting event such as football or gymnastics? Have
you ever seen the athletes with ankles, knees, wrists or other
body parts taped? The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) is the
person who tapes these athletes. Have you ever seen an athlete
get injured and "go down on the field?" The ATC is
the person who runs out onto the field to take care of that injured
athlete. The ATC prevents, recognizes, evaluates and rehabilitates
injuries!

Through a thorough
exam, which may or may not require x-rays, we will find out the
source of the problem. If it is determined that your condition
cannot be treated through chiropractic care, we will refer you
to the proper health care professional.
